LITTLE EARTH HOUSING TEMPORARY RELOCATION
The interior improvements the townhomes and apartments will receive are substantial. Due to building codes and the need to enhance certain units, the work to be completed is as follows below.
TEMPORARY HOUSING PET POLICY -
MOVING AND CARE RESIDENT RESPONSIBILITY
During the move to and from your temporary residence and during occupancy of either, the Resident will be responsible for the moving and control of their pet(s) during the process.

The Resident is solely responsible for moving pets between residences.

When in occupancy of their temporary or permanent unit the Resident, must control their pets when Little Earth staff or contractors performing work inside the unit are present. The staff or contractors must have the constant ability to enter or leave the unit without the potential of an animal biting and “escaping” from the unit. You will be notified in advance of each event requiring the restraint of your pets.

​Packing and Clearing Your Townhome
And the Move Back
Your townhome must have your food, toiletries, linens and personal items moved to your temporary townhome. You have been provided packing boxes, tape, and a marker to mark all boxes as to which room, in your temporary townhome, you want things placed by the Frerichs Moving Team. If you need additional packing materials or if you find you need assistance you had not expected to require, please contact Cathee Vick, Transition Coordinator, or Mari LaRoque, Assistant Transition Coordinator at Little Earth Residents Association at 612-724-0023 or email Cathee.vick@learth.org .

Kitchens – You are to pack all food items you wish to have transferred for use in temporary townhome. You should pack your dishes, silverware, linens and cookware to be moved, but you will not be using them. Kitchen cupboards must be completely cleared.

Bathrooms – Pack all items in bathroom. Vanity must be completely cleared.

Living room – Pack small items and any items in closets.

Bedroom(s) – Pack all small items, clothing, remove and pack linens.

Closets and storage areas – Pack all contents for moving to your temporary Townhome.

Children’s furnishings – If you have a crib, stroller, highchair, or other child related furniture, this will all be moved to your temporary Townhome.
The Moving Team will move all furniture, electronics (including wall hung TVs), and draperies or blinds. Anything that must be disassembled will be completed by the Moving Team and reassembled in your temporary unit.
If you have anything you no longer want, leave it in the apartment mark it as Trash, and the Moving Team will dispose of it.
You are asked to complete the same process for moving back to your original Townhome.

The bathroom will be completely replaced.

New flooring and paint throughout.

Addition of internet service.

New doors as needed - closets, room entries, and exterior entry door

New furnace and air conditioning

New water heater
-
Enhanced attic insulation

Walls will be relocated in some cases to achieve meet codes and enhance spaces.

The kitchen will be completely replaced with new cabinets, appliances, flooring, and wall finishes.

The bathroom will be completely replaced.

New flooring and paint throughout.

Addition of internet service.

New doors for closets, room entries, and entry door from corridor.
